Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera

Only 9 days left till the third and FINAL run of our show, Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera.  We’re super thrilled to show you our latest and greatest production, jam-packed with new fight choreography, zombie extras, and more! We also have a new video trailer posted!

Show dates are October 27-30th at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater:

We will be printing our programs soon, and that means that time is running out if you still want to be listed in the program as a member of our VIP SWAT TEAM* – that title comes with the purchase of a VIP Party Pass! This grants you early admission into the hall for complementary food and drinks (IDs will be checked for alcohol, courtesy of Rock Bottom Brewing), a meet and greet with the cast and crew, and lots of other cool, fun stuff!

Bring a date, bring a camera, dress up if you wish! But you don’t want to miss this once-in-a-lifetime event!

*Purchase must be made by midnight this Saturday (Oct 15th) to secure a guaranteed mention in the Program

The Zombie Opera attacks Station Square with Molly’s Trolleys Haunted Trolley Tour!

We would like to announce that The Zombie Opera has joined ranks with Molly’s Trolleys to celebrate the opening of their Haunted Trolley Tours! Look for us on KDKA with Molly’s Trolleys on Wednesday morning!

On Friday, October 7th, at 6:30 pm, look for zombies in Station Square, near the Hard Rock Cafe. Climb aboard the Terror Trolley and hear the gruesome stories behind the most haunted locations in Pittsburgh!

Can’t get enough of Zombies?  Check us out at Pittsburgh Zombie Fest, October 8th in Market Square, hosted by The It’s Alive Show.  We will have fun stuff for sale at our merchandise table all day, and will be performing a small selection of zombie opera music in the afternoon on stage from 3:30pm-4pm. Stop by and say hello, we will be on site from noon to 9pm!

It’s almost October, and that means that Early Bird ticket sales for the Zombie Opera will be ending in two more days!  So if you know which show you would like to attend, make sure you get your general admission tickets before the weekend and receive $5 off.  On Saturday morning, they are back to regular price (does not apply for students, seniors, or project participants.) Last night, a band of humans and zombies took over Sing Sing in the Waterfront for a night of mayhem and frivolity. Pictures were taken, music was played, beers were drank, and fun was had by all!

The Zombie Opera would like to extend a warm thank you to everyone whose contributions made yesterday’s fundraiser a grand success! Specifically, we would like to thank our volunteers who arrived early to help us decorate, run sound, sell merchandise, take pictures, work the door, and keep track of our mailing list. Our sincerest gratitude goes out to our fabulous bands, Lightning Box, School of Athens, and Order of Nine who volunteered their time and talents and really made yesterday sensational! You guys sounded awesome! A special thank you goes to Lauren, Rock Bottom, and all the gracious staff who worked with us throughout every step in this process. You were wonderful hosts, and really made things run smoothly. And, finally, we would like to thank everyone who was able to attend last night, and hope that you all had a great time!
