Words cannot express the depth of our gratitude toward everyone who made this October’s production of Evenings in Quarantine: The Zombie Opera spectacular. It was truly amazing getting to work with some very talented people and hearing feedback from our audience. Your enthusiasm made this project successful, and your dedication made it sensational. Whatever the future may hold for the Zombie Opera, this will always be the first group of people to have participated in our “Love letter to Pittsburgh.”
With no immediate Zombie Opera performance plans on the horizon, we will be closing our regular email correspondence. However, we will keep the Zombie Opera website updated with current and future events, so please drop by from time to time.
We will leave you now with our specific words of gratitude:
Thank you to the ever-attentive staff at the Kelly-Strayhorn Theater, some of whom we have worked with before, and some whom we had the pleasure to meet. You made things run smoothly, and made us feel very much at home! Thank you to our stage extras, who volunteered days upon days to making our performance chilling and dynamic. We put you through the wringer, but you always came back smiling. Thank you to our director, who infused this production with new life–reanimator style! You transformed us, and really brought out the dept of our performance. Thank you to our fabulous crew, who, after two previous runs, always found new ways to be creative and merge the new with the old in disturbing ways! Thank you for making everything work, and for being such a soothing presence during stressful times. Congratulations to our cast, who stuck with us from the very beginning, and pulled out all the stops to make this one the best show yet! And a special thank you to our Production Team, who has been tirelessly charging since June toward the final goal of perfection. Thank you to everyone who came out to see this show. None of this would matter if it weren’t for you. For everyone, our gratitude toward all your dedication is beyond words.
We meant what we said, and we said what we meant, but you were all faithful– one-hundred percent!
Sincerely,
Bonnie and Liz
